Projects in Interventions

Explore projects in Interventions!

They focus on improving how interventions are conceptualized, implemented, and assessed to address complex social, educational, and health-related challenges. These studies aim to enhance the rigor, relevance, and equity of interventions by integrating theory-driven design, culturally responsive practices, and innovative methodologies. Researchers explore frameworks such as implementation science, participatory design, and adaptive interventions, while using mixed methods and advanced evaluation strategies to assess effectiveness, scalability, and sustainability. Many projects also emphasize stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement processes to ensure interventions are context-sensitive and impactful. This work strengthens the evidence base for policies and programs that promote positive outcomes at individual, community, and systems levels.

  • Methods for Design and Analysis of Adaptive Experiments
Project Abstract/Summary This research project will advance the methodology for and practical implementation of adaptive experiments. Adaptive experiments dynamically update treatment assignment procedures based on observed responses. They offer significant advantages over conventional randomized control trials for addressing decision-oriented questions such as identifying the best treatment among alternatives or personalizing interventions for different populations. However, their uptake in research and decision making settings has been limited. Methods for adaptive experimental designs to date have not served researchers who wish to… Read more: Methods for Design and Analysis of Adaptive Experiments
